GeoSplit is the Winner of the 6th ECF Oil & Gas Technology Innovation Award

The award ceremony for the best innovative projects in the oil and gas industry was held in Shanghai as part of the 6th Energy China Forum. GeoSplit, an innovative digital oilfield services company has become the winner of the Technology Innovation Award in the nomination “Cost Reduction & Efficiency Technology”.

The award recognizes and rewards innovative technologies and products that have the potential to make significant contribution towards the development of China’s oil and gas industry. ECF expert committee examines the submissions to evaluate a variety of criteria, the crucial ones of which were the unique design of technical solutions and economic efficiency.

For several years, GeoSplit has been implementing marker-based production profile surveillance projects at the largest oil and gas fields in China. Partners and clients note the advantages of the technology for well study and its prospects in the projects for the digitalization of production.

The Chinese government assigns a leading role to domestic grown innovation, actively supporting and stimulating its development. Recognition of Russian industrial technology in the Chinese market is very rare. GeoSplit marker-based production logging technology has already been the winner of multiple awards related to innovations in Russia. This is our first significant victory at the international level.
