Geosplit is pleased to welcome a new team member – Mr. Jianhua Xu who has joined us as Business Development Director in China.

This appointment is justified by ongoing active operations in Asian market and initial success of GEOSPLIT technology among leading Chinese oil and gas producing companies. .We have invited Mr. Xu to join GeoSplit and fulfil a challenging task of bringing the technology to every oil&gas field in China, to support our partners and customers in gaining more value from the application of QuantumPLT and identifying the best solution for specific tasks and objectives of each project.

Mr. Xu has over 21 years of experience in national (SINOPEC, Geomodeling Technology Corp.)  and international oilfield services companies (Schlumberger) in multi-functional roles including software technical support, technical sales and consulting service project management. He has expertise in conventional and unconventional oil and gas exploration, geological and geophysical software training and support, integrated consulting service project management, new business development, marketing and sales. Being a graduate of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences,  Mr. Xu is the author of multiple SPE papers and other industry-related publications, member of China Petroleum Society and SPE. 

Jim has been a dedicated Schlumberger employee for 12 years and expanded professional expertise from exploration to development and engineering, has successful experience working in consulting services company and geomodelling software development.

Currently, Jim is ready to meet the new challenge – to bring GeoSplit sales in China to a new level, to make the name of GeoSplit an equivalent of marker (tracer) monitoring, reservoir management and field development in China.
We are delighted that Jim's competences and experience are now at the service of GeoSplit.
