Geosplit at ATCE 2020

The Annual Technical Conference and Exposition (ATCE) starts on 27th of October 2020. It is an iconic event in the oil and gas industry with a 96-year history. We are pleased to announce the speech of Mr Oscar Rivas, Geosplit Business Development Manager about “Using Markers for Production Logging in Horizontal Gas Wells with Multistage Hydraulic Fracturing” on 28th of October at 13:30 (UTC).

Mr Oscar will talk about the pioneering experience of using marker-based inflow profiling technology in a gas well located at the Chinese province Shanxi. Among successfully resolved challenges are the extended length of the horizontal lateral and a large number of fracturing stages. Inflow profiling allowed the operating company identification of high and low performing fractures, to trace downhole production dynamics and, as a result, to optimize designs of future well and fracturing.
